| three way calling
Talk to two different people at the same time. Add a second party to your existing call or put one call on hold and make a second call. Three Way Calling works with both local and long distance numbers.
- Save Time - talk to two people at once.
- Group calls reunite you and save on long distance.
- Very useful - a second outgoing line.
- No special equipment needed.
To Use Three Way Calling:
- Put your first call on hold by pressing and releasing the switchhook, or by pressing the flash button. Note: Not all phones come with this button.
- Listen for three brief tones, then a dial tone. Place the second call.
- Once the second party answers, you may talk before returning to the original call.
- Press and release the hookswitch or flash button again to connect all three parties.
Note: If the line is busy or there is no answer, cancel the call by pressing the hookswitch or flash button twice.
More About Three Way Calling:
- To disconnect the first party, that party must hang up.
- To disconnect the third party, press and release the hookswitch or flash button twice, or the third party can hang up.
- All three connections are automatically disconnected when you hang up.
