call forwarding

Forward your calls to another location when you plan to be away from your telephone.

• Leave home and still receive your calls.
• Your phone can ring at any location.
• No need to wait at home for important calls.
• No special equipment required.

To Activate Call Forwarding:

1. Dial *72 and wait 4 seconds for two bursts of dial tone.
2. Dial the telephone number that you wish to forward your calls to (if it is long distance, don't forget the "1" and the appropriate area code).
3. Remain on the line until someone at the forwarded location answers.
4. If no one at the forwarding location answers the phone OR you receive a busy tone, you must repeat steps 1 and 2. Remain on the line until a confirmation tone is heard.

To Deactivate Call Forwarding:

1. Dial *73 and wait 4 seconds for confirmation tone.

More About Call Forwarding:

• Call Forwarding is in effect until you turn it off.
• You can still make outgoing calls from your phone when Call Forwarding is on.
• As a reminder, your telephone will receive one short ring as each call is forwarded.
• Calls can be forwarded to a long distance number. However, the long distance charges will be billed to you.
